A happy mother is one who is willing to invest not only in the health of her child, but also in the education of her child. A mother that has some basic literacy or and numeracy skills has a greater chance of having a healthy child that will grow beyond age 5!

Without involving traditional leaders in the fight and quest for access to quality education and sensitisation of local communities, the battle to get everyone on board becomes a daunting one.
Collaboration, team work and unity of purpose in the pursuit of quality education for all is key in making it a reality! I am here (right) with my colleagues who equally have a passion for the development of education.
Issues of education are better understood when the traditional leaders are in the fore front in championing the cause. This helps break the traditional and cultural myths that have for long discriminated against a girl child's education putting preference on the boy child while the girl child is given away into early marriage and left to run the household by taking care of the siblings and the school going brothers.
Bringing leaders who have a passion for development on board is key in advancing development and initiating development projects. I am here (left) with Hon. Sidney Chisanga (right), a prominent businessman and Member of Parliament for Mkushi South in Zambia. He is a keen supporter of education programmes. .................................................................
